Is some cheetah better than no cheetah?

For launch control (cheetah stance) launches, if I launch before the car gets all the way to "Ready to Launch", will I still have better results than if I had launched without launch control at all?

Thanks. I have been hearing both good and bad. I'll start using it every time now. Even if I'm only a few seconds into it when I launch.

Launch mode hits harder than just punching the throttle from a stop, for sure.

And all Cheetah mode really does is help prevent a reverse rake when you're accelerating in launch mode.

Anything Performance model with Air Suspension.

Hmm.... I've got a 60 that has been upgraded to the 90 battery, and have full access to the range but the branding still says 60. If they change that to the other branding option, any idea if that would show up? I've got the air suspension already.

Your car isn't a Performance model. It gets complicated with the 'upgraded' cars, but unless you have a P90D that's labeled as such, I don't think you have access to Cheetah mode.

I think just any air suspension. My P90D displayed "entering cheetah mode" when I last did a launch.
