iOS Summon feature resolution

There are a number of Apple iOS owners still not able to get summon to work despite having app version 4.25

My car still wouldn’t move this morning so I used the tried and tested tech method and hey presto, it now works!

turn off summon in the car and do a 2 button reboot and turn summon back on. Summon worked straight away after that

I have changed the privacy settings, from location always for the Tesla app to only while using app. I noticed after selecting summon that the target icon was close to the cars location. Previously it used to be way off and moving it didn't help. So I managed to move the car today.

I'll try your method and see what happens.

It's fixed, finally!

It worked on my Model 3 after updating the app without having to do any of the steps above to switch off summon and reset but can't see any harm giving that a go and blowing away any cobwebs

I cant seem to get 4.25, phone reports V 4.24.5, checked on app store and no update available. However, so looking forward to having summon working again when i can eventually update the app. Is there a way to force an update?

Well how weird was that. App store shows no update available - so i clicked on "tesla.inc" and suddenly update was displayed - so 4.25 is now installed and going out to try it.

I had to two button reset twice (on the first instance, Summon had been automatically turned on again after the reboot) but I confirm it works!!!

Updated the Tesla App on my iPhone and summon is now working. No two button reset required. Thanks!

No two button for me either, updated the app eventually and it all works fine, to be honest it started moving within seconds of touching the button - It used to have a think for maybe 20 odd seconds before the car moved - now maybe under 10 seconds max.

Possibly broken again on 32.6 / 4.25.1 on iPhone. Can someone else test? I just get stuck at the spinning circle.

Just go back or restart the app and that should sort it. Happens all the time to me.

Just tried mine on 32.6 but iOS app v25.5 and it’s working

here the same 32.6 on the car 4.25.6 on the app iOS 17.0.3 and summon working again

I’m still seeing that summons is finicky with the latest software on the car 32.9 and 4.26.6 on the app.

I turned off continuous press but at this point for some reason I can’t get it to come to target.
Maybe I’ll try the reboot.
