Interior Decor Choice: obeche matte vs gloss

Chose the matte and like it. Will have to figure out the best care products therefor. Back in the day, lemon oil would be used.

Does anyone have good pictures of the gloss obeche? I found some good ones of the matte but not gloss. Need something to show my wife so she can decide..... :biggrin:

matte.

- easier to maintain (fingerprints/ scratches)
- less chance of glare/ reflections
- seems more modern and less corny and you get TEXTURE! (this last one is a subjective preference though)

Matte. To me, matte looks more elegant, subdued. Goes very well with tan upholstery and black dashboard.

I was one million percent going to order the Obeche matte. Then I visited a store. Ordered the gloss.

If you can possibly make it to a store, go have a look.

Yup. Me too. Once I saw how washed out the matte looked, I ordered the glossy too. Yes, it'll get fingerprints on it. So will the touchscreen. If that's the worst problem, well . ..

I have matte, but recently had a maintenance loaner that had gloss. I really like the gloss. Just keep a microfiber hand towel in the car for quick wipes.

You'll need the microfiber towel to wipe off the touch screen in any case.
