Interesting. The one I saw was definitely "LOLGAS" and not "GAS LOL", and it was a Model S with Washington Plates. I may have fabricated the redness in my mind, but the rest is definitely right. Oh well. I guess I'll have to get creative for mine, whenever I get it.
If we're going to reminisce on all vanity plates we have owned, I put a plate on a leased C-class in the early 2000s that went HE METPO. One space is allowed in California, so I used it. I am not going to translate it as I am curious who might be able to decode it. A secret handshake of sorts.
At least you're not stuck with British number-plates, where even a so called 'private' plate has to be within the constraints of current or previous standard plate layout and cannot be newer than the car (since plates generally have years on). Also our prices are exorbitant.
