If you are picking up from a service center you can absolutely inspect the vehicle prior to making full payment. I've done this on 4 cars. They've never said no.

Also don't pay for the car until you have inspected it. This is the way.

I had my S full PPF and ceramic coated. I also had lovely custom signature forged wheels. My warning to anyone doing this is be prepared to get next to nome of that money back if you get your car totaled. It makes losing the car so much more painful :(

I think historically, changing your order has resulted in the price getting updated.

On discussing with my CPA I've switched my order to Uber Red with white interior. Can get the $7500 through the business EV tax credit when I file next year. Huzzah.

Did you read my post? The reason I'm exploring this is because the disqualifying factor for the red/white configuration is the price, it being over $55k. There's nothing else that would disqualify it. So if the price cap isn't there, it would qualify. Likewise with the S (presuming the battery...

I'd love a red and white and have enquired with my CPA about purchasing the car for my LLC, which I believe would negate the cap on the price of the car. I presume I'd have to get the credit when I file rather than have it applied at PoS though.

I just made the plunge on a discounted Midnight Silver and Black interior M3P. It was in inventory at my closest dealer with $4,590 off. I was waiting for a Highland (whatever the performance iteration of that will be), but with no dates on when that will be I figured with the full tax credit...

I'm picking up at discounted M3P at the end of the year and I was wondering if anyone has taken delivery of one recently in the NE and can let me know what tires they came with. My wife's MYP came with the pilot sport all seasons but all my research so far just shows the summer Pirellis.

Someone lost control coming through a junction due to oil on the road and hit me in the ride when I was stationary at the light. Insurance is paying out $71k but I'm still quite a bit out of pocket after custom rims and ppf :/

No I was stationary at a traffic light and someone spun out and hit me, wasn't even that hard.

My vibration and shudder under hard acceleration are no longer an issue. Unfortunately it's also resulted in the car getting totaled. Guess I'm going to wait and get a M3 Highland instead.

I don't have the original half shafts that came with the car. They replaced them to try and fix the shudder problem.

I have shudder under hard acceleration. They claim it's the cold grease and it should go away when warmed up. But that's different to what this thread is about. I have that too :/

Just want to point out that every single (non-Tesla) car I've bought in the past 10+ years has tried to sell me ppf. I'm not sure innovation is the right word here :)

Can you be more specific? If you are taking about using the Tesla yoke it would have to go in either a Refresh (2021+) S or X. Nothing else.

One of the main roads by our house has just been milled in prep for being resurfaced. It's crazy how much vibration from that comes through the accelerator pedal (I also experience the acceleration vibration).
