Gen 3 wall connector LED brightness

I’m about to have my Gen 3 wall connector installed, and my ideal placement will be adjacent to my bedroom window. Is the LeD very bright at night? I’d rather not have the glow leaking into the bedroom, and don’t want to have to move it if it’s annoying!

Plan on hanging it above the hose reel

If its on the short wall, you won't even know there are lights. If its on the long wall and the lights bother you, you can stick some white duct tape over them. It looks like the head of your bed will be mostly blocked by the short wall anyway.


If you really want, its not difficult to disassemble the HPWC and unplug the lights, or maybe someday(or already) Tesla has come up with a software option to disable them.

go to your favourite online store and search for light dimming stickers. You can put these over and LED and make them much dimmer so they don't annoy you. I use them on my cable boxes.

I've never used Temu but the same thought can be applied to amazon (Prime member) and ebay (member since May 2001).
