Front wheel well question

I recently had an issue after my last annual service and was cleaning the car today. While doing the wheels, I looked into the wheel well and what I saw did not look right. It would not seem normal that exposed wires and connectors would just be hanging down exposed to the elements like this. The first picture is my car, the second is the only shot of a passenger side wheel well I could find online. My drivers side is similar to the first pic so I don't have a reference myself.

My service visit included an "adjustment" to the strut/swaybar and I'm starting to think they removed a cover and never put it back, in addition to all the other damage.

Can anyone comment as to what it is supposed to look like?

Good catch on the exposed wire harness.
I would have the Service Center properly secure and protect the harness... or you could use a cable tie

Looks like that exposed connector is broken and should be taped and hidden behind the plastic cover.

Thanks for the pic - it would seem that I *am* missing the plastic cover. I can see the outline of where it used to be on my remaining panel.
