When Captain started drawing parallels between oil and lithium production crystallizing a concept of OPEC being model for "LIEC, a lithium ion producers' cartel", I came to conclusion that he is either clueless, going senile or deliberately spreading FUD to audience affected by those maladies.

On a related note.
An Electric hearse would be perfect. Quiet, no exhaust the face of people following it, slow moving for max range, plenty of room for batteries, can run on decay.
