Either people have seriously slowed down entering their data, or the 6.2 rollout has hit a snag...
Maybe Elon tried to use the trip planner for the first time and was routed 40 miles away from where he wanted to be (like I was yesterday - based on a search for a restaurant that showed up with the correct address, yet when I clicked on it and routed me somewhere completely different and entirely unrelated)

We clearly need to talk about your colour choices. ;)

It's not Dirk's vault... the copy/paste doesn't capture the CSS.

But it does look like the font, color, and size can be changed in the forum post.

I missed a few pages somewhere, so is .168 the first version with faster acceleration (insaner insane mode), or has that been out for a while?
Neither .153 nor .160 release notes make mention of the 0-to-60-mph performance.

I've lost track of the rules...

Is it ok for Dirk to put a link to the tracker in his forum signature?

Sidenote: The sort order for entering an update is a bit odd...

101.36.2
2.4.153
2.4.124
2.4.136

2.4.160
2.4.168
2.4.155

It would link to a website that is neither commercial nor in any way shape or form competing with TMC. So my guess is that it would be OK. Moderators, can we get a preliminary opinion / ruling on this?

It's sorted by the largest prime factor of the sum of the minor and subminor version. Isn't that obvious?

I first saw this post on my phone in tapatalk, and it sounded like Dirk had already added a link to his sig for the tracker, and you were calling him out on it, which I found rather odd thing to do. until I realized that Dirk didn't yet have the link in his sig, and you were just making a suggestion. I don't see why it would not be allowed. After all, I've had a link to my Supercharger Trip Logger (http://LogMySC.com) in my sig for quite a while now without any problems.

Yeah, ok, I have an internal "sort order" field for that list, but I just didn't populate it until now. now the list goes:

2.4.168
2.4.160
2.4.155
2.4.153
2.4.136
2.4.124
101.36.2

assuming the most current build is listed on top being the most likely one to be selected, except for the oddball 101.x.

One interesting thing in the tracker is that we still get the occasional report of people getting older versions. For example, we have a report from a P85D which got .153 yesterday.
Yes, I know, could be data entry error, could be it was downloaded a while ago and the user just finally applied it, could be many things. But I find it quite intriguing.

Some people have speculated here that the recent cars (AP, Ds) are over-represented in the tool because more recent buyers are more likely to be active on the forum.
And of course P85D owners who are on the forum are eager to get .168 because of the alleged performance upgrade. Yet we see hardly any reports for .168 (none yesterday).
So clearly there is no "massive" roll-out of .168, yet, either.

Or, along those same line, there appears no effort to bring up a lot of Non-AP/D owners up to what looks like the current version (101.x). I'm still on .153, and there have been .155 .160 and .168 builds pushed to similar older cars. I would assume (I know) that over time, TM would eventually get everyone on the latest version. But even that has seemed to stoped.

I think something's up with .168. A few people got it early on and now it seems to have stopped rolling out. Only 8 of 67 reporting P85Ds have .168, with the bulk having .153. I expect a new build will replace .168 shortly.

I agree. As I mentioned this morning, we even have new reports of .153 on P85D.

Downloaded the tracker csv and applied some Excel pivot magic... Given the way .124 and .153 shot out, it seems they're being awfully finicky about opening the flood gates for .168. I expect a new build rather than a ramp up of .168 at this point.

Here's an update to the crosstab tables I created using Excel to look at Build by Model(Trim). It's the same as the last table on the report page, just putting Model as columns as previously requested. Nothing really new here, just a different way to look at the same data.

You can download the Excel file (yes, you will get security warnings because it has a macro) here: http://logmysc.com/download/FirmwareUpdate.xlsm

There's an "Update" button which will automatically pull the latest data and update the pivot tables for you.

Since I'm pretty sure I was one of the first people to request this, let me also be one of the first to say thanks! It, like all your work on this, is really appreciated!
