I drive an MPV (interested in buying the Model X) in UK which is 2120mm wide including side mirrors, the S is 2187mm, do not think that 67mm extra should be a problem. If camera's fitted then width should come down to under 2 metres.

Which is a lot already. And that is not counting the side mirrors!
But our old Merc was a W124 (width 1740 mm, in other words 223mm or 9" less than MS) anyway, which is much smaller, yet still feels huge along such roads.

The current 3 Series (F30) is 1811 mm. That seems to be the target. My guess is the Model E will be 1830mm-1860 mm range.

Hopefully side mirrors will be replaced with cameras by then.

The German Design Studio says 4 months for delivery, but I guess actual given delivery dates might differ.

On the supercharger front, on the German forum two construction sites have appeared (one certainly SC, one not quite obvious yet but location makes sense for SC). Those would allow travel Amsterdam to Berlin and Switzerland to at least North of Germany, if you take the right ferry you might even make it to North Norway!

And which 2 new (under construction) Supercharger locations are you talking about?

The first one is Euro Rastpark Hohenwarsleben near Magdeburg (A2) (there are pictures of that one already and it is on supercharge.info), the second one (no pics yet), just a construction area that smells like SC at a KFC near Bad Nenndorf, also A2:

That would indeed be a great location for a Supercharger.

Please keep us informed here on the TMC forum when new information will appear on the TFF forum.

Thanks

172 in Norway, according to a member of the EV forum, who maintains a spreadsheet, based on publically available information about car registration numbers. He was 100% correct last month, so he's probably 100% correct this month.

The number is pretty much as expected. The first month of every quarter has always been slow. Hopefully we'll see numbers in the 600-range in May.

January: 132
February: 431
March: 1494
April: 172

Please mention the source where you got this information from.

It's been widely reported based on a joint press release from three Dutch car related organisations, for example : http://www.carros.nl/autonieuws/41753-autoverkopen-6-lager/ (Dutch)

To put that number into perspective : this is much less than end-of-quarter month March (190) but much more than the exceptionally slow begin-of-quarter month January (7)

Two new Superchargers up and charging in Europe: Vienna/Austria and Magdeburg (Irxleben)/Germany according to German forum TFF Forum Thema anzeigen - Supercharger in Europa !!
Neither of them is on the Europe map on Tesla's site :-(
It seems rather odd that they wouldn't advertise the available chargers... especially as both of those will nicely extend those circles towards the East...

Vienna is on the map now :)

OFVs official statistics is out and april is obviously not as good month as march and generelly a bad month for car sales compared to last year (propably mostly because easter holiday is a big thing in Norway and was in april this year). The number is 171 cars from Tesla in April. That puts them below 20'th most popular car model, it seems.

@Yggdrasill. At this point, do we have a good explanation as to why March was so high in Norway? How would you explain this?
