EU Delivery 2nd of March

Hey Folks,

My delivery specialist called in this morning to confirm the delivery of my Model 3 tomorrow. I thought I'd make a small thread to share the sentiments from yesterday's call versus tomorrow delivery.

The model I am getting tomorrow is a Model 3P with EAP. Following yesterday's announcement, I initially had an emotional reaction of "what the heck is happening here", which I guess I rationalized overnight.

Yes, it's a bit annoying that the price is decreasing. For the same amount I put, I could simply have the same car with EAP+FSD today, which is about a 5K EUR difference? This is annoying, and I'm pretty sure it's not the end of the price decrease and things like this.

On the other hand, if we closely believe what Elon and Tesla want to make happen, it was pretty clear from the start that everything that just happened would have happened. The 35k$ model 3 was their initial thought and was part of their initial master plan. I have been foolish to think it would not happen: they said over and over again that it would.

After all that, I am still excited to get my delivery tomorrow, more excited that I've ever been to take delivery of a car. I consider myself lucky to be one of the first to have this car in Belgium and I'll make sure to take some fun out of it! I hope to keep the car for multi-year time period if reliability is at the rendez-vous, so the devaluation is pretty pointless after all to me at this stage. (Small NOTE: I sold my land rover to buy the model 3, invoice price was 54k eur and I have been able to sell it for 27k.. after 14 months ownership, so tell me about devaluation...)

Finally, the only thing I would find appealing to me, is a special offer to people like me who paid full bucks for this EAP with no option to buy FSD at order time to be able to upgrade to FSD including hardware upgrade. I believe if Tesla propose me a good price for this (1-2k tops?), I would for sure go for it.

I believe they're telling (at least some) people in Europe now that some of those options are now being added for free in upcoming deliveries. Anyway, please post your initial thoughts from delivery. We want pictures!

Congratulations on getting your M3P I ordered mine at the start of Feb and still waiting...

Anyway, I also saw the announcement last night and was wondering about my order, especially as I looked at the US price changes and with the same spec it was a lot cheaper but with the EU price change it was 100 euros more??

Anyway, my main concern was the auto pilot and FSD changes so I call Tesla today.

I had the good news that I would be given the FSD included in the price I agreed so no increase.

The guy also confirmed that the software would be updated as well so I would have the longer range and higher top speed, etc.

I am sure you will get the same.

Have they used the word "FSD" or they mentioned the few features that they've moved from EAP to FSD yesterday?

Anyway, I'm excited to get it ;-) I don't feel anything would get in the way of that excitement.. :)

I ordered around the 20 of January, so yours should come soon!

Spent the whole day for that beauty ;-) The good/bad about this delivery:

- THIS IS AN AMAZING CAR.
- only 180km charged on the battery.. I live 140km away from the Tesla center.. so I had to drive really slow to make it :)
- LTE/4G in the car does not work, and I need to get to a service center on Monday to get it fixed :(
- THIS IS AN AMAZING CAR.
- I have to wait for it to charge and I only have a 16A/220v, which gives me 20km/h of charge, as they did not have any wall charger in stock... :)
