Enough of talking auto taxis and focus on selling the M3 to the public

Good gracious, the Model 3 is outstanding vehicle and the public has very little truth about it. Millions would lining to buy up if Tesla would just focus on (limited) marketing and the M3.

Perhaps Tesla can’t/won’t market the Model 3 because they just don’t have the resources to pump out a million cars a year?

Marketing is one issue.

People are also not keen on buying a car sight-unseen.

Tesla make it sound like their ordering and delivery processes are the best thing since sliced bread. Nothing could be further from the truth.

I don’t think they factor in what $35,000+ means to the bulk of potential buyers and how off-putting the purchase process is.

They are literally selling them faster than they can build them.

They don't have enough batteries to build more.

It's part of why they're building a factory in china, and looking to source additional batteries for it- as well as trying to work with Panasonic in the US in boost battery production up to 40% here.

Car is simply amazing. I understand Tesla is having difficulty with supply and logistics. But damaging your own product with unnecessary philosophical long term goals strategies is not the most idealistic way to get handle on these issues.

Tesla has done an amazing job of marketing their cars, without expensive advertising programs.

Most everyone I know, also knows about Tesla and their popular Electric Cars. They are an aspirational purchase.

They typically are running hard to fill all the orders that come their way.

With batteries in short supply, advertising for the most part would simply be wasted money.

Tesla is smart to get lots of media exposure without paying for it.
