“Yes there was a DCA in place for your agreement and no commission was paid to the dealer for the introduction”

That’s it, zippo. Massive waste of time.
  1. So the DCA WAS in place but NO money changed hands?
  2. Was that Black Horse?
  3. How long did they take to come back to you? 6 weeks and I’m still waiting.

Correct

DCA in place but claim they gave no money to supplier. They don’t provide any proof of this, just got to believe them apparently. Wasn’t black horse no, was Nissan Finance for an old previous vehicle. Took about 6 weeks. Absolute waste of time.

Fired off three, two with VWFS (Audis) and one to BMW.

VWFS after initially trying to get rid of me asking for lots of detail to prove it was me (found most of it) have said “Based on our initial review we believe a Discretionary Commission Arrangement may apply to your agreement” and are now pausing it until September.

BMW have sent me a delaying email, saying they couldn’t meet my 28 days and they’d let me know…

VWFS one sounds positive, my wife sent them two about Seat purchases and came back with no DCA’s in place.

Posted on a similar thread, but had a letter back today from Black Horse confirming there was a discretionary commission arrangement on our previous car. Anyone else had this and know the next steps? Mine doesn't say if they gave money or not, only states if I'd like to complain I can contact them at their address.

I received the same letter and it's confirmed for all 3 cars (2018, 2019, 2020) and said I have to wait until FCA will finish their investigation... if I'm not wrong September 2024.

I had a letter also and assumed that as I had only asked for information that I would now need to formally complain about the discretionary commission - so back on the website tomorrow (3 cars)

Seems like people are getting some joy out of black horse.

I emailed Mobilize Financial Services back, after they sent an email saying “we’ve checked” and although there was a DCA in place, they say they paid no monies to the supplying dealer.

I emailed asking for proof of such and received a reply back simply saying “trust us, we’ve checked” 😂
