I did see one at Tesla but never met anyone who purchased one... can't remember whether Tesla published anything online... so long ago

Yes I own one so they did make a few at least.

With all the information found here I dared to cut 14mm of the Mennekes plug to be able to charge at 43kW charging stations.
Using the purchased cable Roadster to Mennekes 63A which Henry Sharp has built me I managed to charge 80 km per hour at the new Fastned locations in the Netherlands.
As Fastned is going to open 200 stations like this in the Netherlands long distance travel throughout the whole country is easy possible.
Thanks to all UK Roadster drivers and Henry.
