Consequences for blocking EV chargers

It's really unfortunate this happens at a supercharger but it looks like Tesla had to use the least restrictive signage to make the deal. Where I live in the summer I only use non-Tesla chargers and find that some of them look like they are on private property but they are not. Hello, officer?

Starting 2024, Non-Tesla EV owners will take care of ICE owners blocking NACS chargers. We, Tesla owners just stand by and watch. It will be fun.

There have always been drivers who park and ignore all signs regarding whether it's appropriate to park there, regardless of ICE or EV. Blocking a handicap space can cost the driver big money, but they do it anyway. Parking right under a "No Parking" sign can cost them big money, but they do it anyway. Parking in an EV spot without charging costs them nothing more than a little side-eye, so why are we surprised when they do that?

I look forward to F150 Lightning owners' responses to an ICE blocking the charging station they want to use. Ha!
