Chinese electric car makers aim to win volume sales from the likes of VW and Stellantis. But before BMW, Mercedes and Audi get too complacent, the onslaught will soon be aiming upmarket at them too, according to a report. China's share of Europe’s BEV market could rise to 15% in 2025 from about 5%.

Since Europe has very few EV factories and Battery factorries, except Tesla and also VW,
I imagine that Europe is going to create a new tax law, very similar to the US IRA,
- to promote the sale of Hybrid cars, otherwise the legacy ICE car factories would have to close down,
- to try to disadvantage EVs not build in Europe and coming from China,
- and incite the manufacturing of Hydrogen vehicles, since Europe is obsessed becoming carbon neutral by 2050.
