charging options what should i do?

Get the specs on the vehicle charging stations available to make sure that they're:

1) compatible
2) 240v systems

It would suck to move and find out that they're not compatible with Model S and/or that they're just 110v chargers.

Also, it would be interesting to see what kind of demand there is for those chargers. It would not be fun to have to fight for them at night.

How far do you drive daily? Would charging from a standard outlet get you enough range?

Depends on the source and what the plug is rated for. Most public J1772 chargers are rated for 30A while a NEMA 14-50 is rated at 40A so the NEMA 14-50 could charge faster.

Yeah, depends on which public J1772 charger. As a local example, ddruz, the Better Place J1772 public chargers out in Kapolei are actually 15 amp chargers. Would take a long time to charge a Model S with one of those.
