Yeah the advantage of the HPWC is that it’s hardwired instead of using a plug (so no worries about the plug coming off or potential resistance because of poor contacts). But it’s the same 240V breaker in your panel. The HPWC also has a thicker cord (sturdier) than the mobile unit and the cord...

Dunno if this helps at all but putting in the HPWC doesn’t appear to be particularly difficult or complicated from watching our contractor’s electrician put in ours. I would think that any reasonably experienced electrician should be able to do it. The tricky part is making sure that the DIP...

There are two reservations - one configured with silver with aero wheels and the other with midnight silver with 19 inch sport wheels. Got a call from the delivery specialist (haven't had a chance to call back yet) - wish they would just email (as stated in communication preferences for Tesla)...

Dunno - there's a lot of poorly utilized hidden parking areas now in Ala Moana like that half level by Bloomingdales or the unused old Nordstrom parking structure - might be worth it to management to have Tesla owners use less commonly used stalls for SCing to free up space in more high traffic...

May delivery and no issues with my FWDs. As mentioned previously, more issues with front door latches (and windows) which thankfully are now resolved.

Our service center here in Hawaii (Oahu) has been amazing in terms of responsiveness and ability to get appointments. And we have a pretty high density of Teslas here too.

I have full wrap and have not seen any issues (outside of the typical FWD issues) in terms of the wrap itself affecting the door sensors. They seem to stop appropriately.

I guess they finally started rolling out 8.0 to the X owners. Got the notification last night and installed. Still playing with it today - UI definitely is cleaner. Haven't played with autopilot yet today so don't know about how those changes are working.

Gorgeous car! Sorry to hear about the FWD issue. There were a number of small things wrong with my X initially but after a number of trips back, the vast majority of the punch list is resolved and some we'll just have to wait for Tesla to come up with a fix. But overall, still love my car!
