$0.33/minute at the ChaDeMo adaptor charge rates = more expensive than gasoline during the winter months

Unfortunately, it has happened at least two places in Quebec.

Iirc, the cable is left outside the bollards, then gets dragg d
Looks like vandalism. The cable is pulled out, Someone "tied" it to to back of a truck and drove away(?)

What has happened at least two times in Quebec is that idiots leave the cable on the ground outside the bollards and then the cables get tangled up in a snow plow. So, yes, a truck ends up pulling over the units.

FYI, the charging station at Buckley Bay rest stop on Vancouver Island has been vandalized.

Arbour said there are two theories behind the vandalism.

One is that the vandals were after the copper at the ends of the cables, but “talking with the technician, it sounds like the copper value is probably 20 or 30 bucks.”

“So it’s hard to fathom somebody cutting the power supply to everything and going through all this trouble, just for that.”

He said the second theory is someone showing their frustration over electric cars.

Arbour added that to “properly grow electric vehicle infrastructure,” you need reliability.

Unfortunately, they haven't updated their site in months and details are lacking. For instance, still no info on pricing.

On the website, it says Huntsville, ON location is now open and that the charging rate for 50KWH is 30 cents a minute (100kwh and 150kwh have their own undetermined price).

There is also a map with locations, some locations now have addresses, not all.

There is a supercharger in Huntsville so that is not much help, between Huntsville and Ottawa is where more infrastructure is needed...
