The thing about degradation that we just don't know is if, with time or mileage, will Tesla "unlock" more of the battery (i.e. either slightly increase top voltage and/or lower bottom cut-off voltage) in order to keep the "illusion" of next-to-none degradation?
IMO this is a possibility and could be one possible reason why they are being so tight lipped on the details of this issue (this is certainly not the first thread on the subject and numerous people have tried to get clear information and hard numbers from Tesla but it's just not happening).
