Lloyd and Marc_ga The speed limit is 55, thats why the car was allowed to be set at 60. At the bottom of the hill, the speed limit changes. The car is supposed to slow down.

From what I've heard Autopilot 2 cars are NOT reading speed signs yet and therefore speed limits are often wrong. I wouldn't rely on car yet for these.

Hey guys, this is my 2nd fail video unfortunately. I was driving about 60 mph on La Cienega in Los Angeles with autopilot engaged and my car failed to slow down upon reaching the stopped traffic. Interesting that the van that is stopped was white (Maybe my car didn't see it). I love this company but these issues need to be addressed. How do I get this video to Tesla?

Didn't you disengage AP very early in that video? At 0:08? How do you know whether it would have stopped or not?

What TACC distance and FCW setting did you use? "1" and "late" could maybe explain it, but glad you were paying attention! Systems are not safe yet.

The current autopilot system is more of a limited feature or "toy" and should not be relied upon in any circumstance to stop or navigate or adjust speed in any safe manner. Be careful out there.
