I think I'd be much happier if there was better communication and if deliveries were fulfilled by order date.
Servicing isn't a thing mate.. essentially, all thats required is topping up washer fluid, rotating tyres and changing brake fluid every couple of years.i am concerned about Tesla’s ability to cope when it comes to servicing/maintainance as they dont have enough dealerships/manpower to cope with the number of Teslas sold
I'm not sure whether I am missing anything here, but it seems like the bottle neck is cleaning the cars and getting them delivered in higher volume? I would've thought that these are easy issues to address. What am I missing?I agree totally. Tesla has had a surge in their orders since the release of the Model 3 Highland but the number of dealerships and staffing stay the same. My SA told me they are trying their best to get their cars delivered. When I ordered in Sept,
as @SiLENC3 mentions servicing isnt really a thing.i am concerned about Tesla’s ability to cope when it comes to servicing/maintainance as they dont have enough dealerships/manpower to cope with the number of Teslas sold
my bro in law at NRMA told me Tesla’s repair takes ages as they are slow to send parts and not many smash repairers know how to repair Teslas in the event of an accidentServicing isn't a thing mate.. essentially, all thats required is topping up washer fluid, rotating tyres and changing brake fluid every couple of years.
I reakon Adelaide could do with a bigger DC and more employees!I'm not sure whether I am missing anything here, but it seems like the bottle neck is cleaning the cars and getting them delivered in higher volume? I would've thought that these are easy issues to address. What am I missing?
I had to wait just over 9 months for Holden to get and replace the OEM shock absorbers on my calais under warrenty.my bro in law at NRMA told me Tesla’s repair takes ages as they are slow to send parts and not many smash repairers know how to repair Teslas in the event of an accident
I don't think you need more employees for seasonal changes, there are other options e.g. form relationships with local detailing companies to help out in peak times.
The problem is due to not having enough DCs and employeesI'm not sure whether I am missing anything here, but it seems like the bottle neck is cleaning the cars and getting them delivered in higher volume? I would've thought that these are easy issues to address. What am I missing?
From memory the people in the DC that were detailing the cars were wearing shirts from another company ie they were not tesla Employees; so maybe they already do that?I don't think you need more employees for seasonal changes, there are other options e.g. form relationships with local detailing companies to help out in peak times.
