Anyone taken delivery of new steel grey?

Took delivery on 09/19... Love the new darker grey. She's a beauty! Windows tinted now and looks even better

Tesla is making you sign a damage waiver now if you elect for this, that they cannot be reponsible for scratches or other transport damage if you decline pre-delivery detail.

I think mine was one of the first new 2014 grey's out... I got the call during the factory down time, and was asked if I'd accept the new grey.
Heck ya! Here's what it looks like in a couple different light settings.

It was raining very lightly upon delivery, picture above (garage pad) showing speckle dots on the car.

Overall, I'd say this is the grey that I would have expected the car to be. Fitting. So I'm glad they changed it.

LuvMyS~ nice to see the new grey with black leather. Mine with same config should arrive late Nov. Where did you have the windows tinted at?

New grey after a polishing and coat of CQuartz UK. It's a nice color--extremely close to Lexus Smoky Granite Mica, with a bit more blue/purple tone.

Here's mine again in another setting...

As I was standing there admiring my own car, Tesla moment: walker-by with his girlfriend in arm, stops, gawks into the window and shouts "this is the car that drives itself !!!! Does 0-60 in 3 seconds!" He was yelling this.. and his girl smiles and nods.

...well it's not quite that car. Elon just announced that the day before this pix was taken.
