Anybody know correct way of opening Tesla number plate covers?

My EV sticker is coming off in the middle of the number plate from heat or dampness I guess. I just tried to remove the cover from the bottom and pressed the tabs but with moderate force it's stuck tight and I don't want to break it, any ideas? Thanks

Yes you prise off the 4 plastic clips and will certainly break one of them.

Then get another cover set from Tesla and you will then have 7 spare plastic clips. Don't throw them away.

I'm fed up with how they seem to fill up with dirt (this after only 100km of dirt road) and then when you wash the car, you get a dribble effect inside.

So I'm off to Supercheap Auto soon to get a set of black frames rather than covers. If you come to Sydney I can give you the Tesla clips!

Thanks, I thinking I'll put up with the curled EV sticker... Seems too much risk of breaking something! Mine don't get wet like yours though? I use a touchless car wash and it seems to not cause them to fog up at all. Cheers
