24 hour EV range record in Model S possible?

So I did some more thinking about this last night and realized that technically I didn't need that 90 minute slow charge (Spring Break Travel Journal: NorCal-NorCal), as it was more of an "insurance" policy.

So if you subtract that out, I drove 480 miles in 9.5 hours or an average of ~50.5 miles/hr. That works out to 1,212 miles in 24 hours. So my "casual" drive home was on world record pace. That's with hills and headwinds and a fully loaded car.

It seems to me this record is not very hard to break...

Not in a Tesla Model S. But it was a very high bar indeed for anything -- anything -- that came before, I think. Even a Roadster.
