You can increase your displayed range the old fashioned way, slow down and use less HVAC

On the model Y, they added 10 miles. This was due to a software correction/adjustment. Turns out that the heat pump and one other item is allowing for better efficiency. There’s youtube videos explaining this.I'm new to Tesla and still learning...are the updates improving motor and battery efficiency and therefore the range or are they just adjusting how range is measured or both?

The update is going out slow, I’m still waiting.

Yup, range is increased. Mine is a 2xxx Vin build in March so probably all Y will get the increase, not just newer models. Before update 100% was 301, now 308.

No, it won't matter. I had my Y since March, so the total range dropped. I can always try to charge the car to 100% and drive it to less than 10% and charge it up again to reset it. Probably will see some range back, but I am too lazy. You will only see lower range on the performance Y.If you switch your wheels to the 19s or 20s, does it give you 326 miles range?
Yeah, I've been watching the same thing. It doesn't seem like any Performance Y's have gotten it (and the range boost).so far on Teslafi I only see the 2020.40.7 updates being pushed to the Long Range DM model Ys, no performance yet.

Just to add this is ultimately why I went with Tesla, realized they get better range with smaller batteries. Their engineers are squeezing efficiencies out of every part of the vehicle constantly and clearly years ahead of others.
Hmm ... is it worth going to the supercharger and doing 100% just to see the new range ... probably would lose a mile or two just maxing at SC
Why hasn't any y performance recieved the update
Yes, I switched from 21s to 20s on my performance and went from 290 mi to 215 mi “rated” range. I doubt my real world range increased by much.If you switch your wheels to the 19s or 20s, does it give you 326 miles range?
Will that be different between physically charging the car to 100% VS adjust the bar to 100% on your tesla App under "CHARGING" (It will tell you the est. Range)?
