2019.24.4 AP stoplight turning?

Not sure if this was the case before but I was in a turning lane at a stoplight and engaged autopilot. When the light turned green and the car in front started moving, I followed (on AP) and made the left turn. Is this new???

i think it will follow that in front of you to determine the lane generally.

I haven't done this in a long time, many software revisions ago, but yes, this is how it is supposed to work and has. When I did it, I was driving my S with AP 2.5 hardware. It followed the car in front of me through the turn but it was a little less than confident about the speed to hold or the angle to proper take the turn.

I haven't tried it since. I figured I would wait until people were reporting that it was "amazing" and no longer like driving with a student driver before I tried it again.

It worked pretty well except there was a concrete divider in the road and I had to take over

It was that way before.

AP has a tendency to follow the car ahead of it. If it's turning, so will AP.
Not necessarily ideal, but at least it has been consistent.

It was working really well right until it crashed into a barrier, lol
