I am on 10.8.1. Is there a way to turn off FSD beta (go back to activating radar and away from vision only) without opting out? I seem to remember there was a way to do it with profiles. That would be best I think!

I have a 2019 Model 3 (radar). As I understand from other posts, people with vision only are thrilled with the recent developments but for radar equipped cars, switching to FSD (vision only) is brutal. Makes me sick with all the phantom braking and jerky movements. My problem is a case of FOMO...

10.4 tried to kill me again today. Stop light on a 2 lane road. I get road rage sometimes too but crossing a double yellow at a stop light to get around a car is a recipe for death!

Not to mention that I give the FSD Beta a safety score of 50. Hard breaking (randomly) sitting at intersections not turning… it reminds me of “enhanced” autopilot a few years ago. Really shaky and not “confident”. It got SO much better over the last few years but now it is back to the beginning...

We know because so many peoples scores dropped based on the poor FSD driving (having to brake hard) or the erroneous FCW’s that dropped peoples scores dramatically after the roll back

My biggest concern… when I got FSD, the safety score disappeared HOWEVER it was still there logging in the background. Once FSD rolls out again, unless I plan to do a reset after every drive, my score will certainly drop. As this program rolls out, I wonder how long they will let “normal” Tesla...

I had the bug where I lost FSD so I did a reset trying to fix it. Must have gotten 30 FCW’s on the way home for no reason. Thankful that the reset saved me. Just a few hard breaking (also not my fault!)

Just downgraded to .1 and lost FSD. Miss the visualization and unfortunately the safety score reappeared on the app. Ugh.

Sorry if this has been asked already but if Elon said that they are only looking at the first 7 days of data after pressing the button, does it even matter if you drive for 3 extra weeks to raise your score? It will be what it was after 7 days right?

You would think that the algorithm would favor people who use autopilot without issues. Who cares if we are safe drivers if the software is controlling the car. Tesla should care that we can operate the vehicle safely in “automatic” mode. This whole thing is getting old. Why are we waiting for...

Mine dropped from a “forward collision warning” that never happened. Took me to a 99. Happy to wait if I don’t have to keep driving afraid of someone slowing down in front of me. It makes it no fun to drive when you are driving for “score”!

I saw this in the past when my system was not on AUTO. If I adjusted the dN or something it went into manual mode and the a/c for COP wouldn’t kick on. I will try to find the thread.

‎Stats: For Tesla Model S/X/3

I use “stats” which will let me unlock the car and drive it along with the usual (climate, open trunk/drunk, etc). My Apple Watch has lte so i don’t need to carry my phone or worry if it runs out of battery as long as i have cell coverage. It uses the api not nfc.

Aside from the reduced weight is there any benefit?

I find this happens even if it’s raining outside. I realized that I use the brakes so rarely that they don’t get hot enough to boil off the water and they rust together. Easy enough to clean up with a simple tap of the brakes once rolling!

Yeah, definitely not complaining. I usually see 5-6 revisions before there is one that gets pushed to the masses but this one is just sitting. I would have thought there would be beta versions pushed to a test group. Maybe something in this build restricts teslafi?

Come to think of it, this extra 5% (25 or so hp) should drop the 0-60 time from 3.1 to 3.0? Dare I say 2.9???

It changes from update to update. Sometimes my camera comes on instantly and other times just black screen. Seems each update fixes it then breaks it. Not kids touching the screen either.

Just a black screen. Sometimes it returns after about 30 seconds. Sometimes not. It’s a well known bug that seems to appear between updates.
