Interested in picking up this 2012 Model S. Owner states all four door handles, MCU, and drive motor replaced under warranty. Owner states that eventhough drive motor was replaced, it still makes humming noise. Good deal? Any pitfalls. What's the good, bad and the ugly? Thanks.

I would want to know the history of the high voltage battery. If it's original to the car and one of the very early designs, it's a ticking time bomb. Many many 2012 and 2013 cars experiencing HV battery failures in the past year or so.

If it has the original battery with the original design to leak the A/C line onto the battery it 100% a ticketing time bomb with a very short fuse.

There are some definite trends with early battery packs failing in earlier Model S vehicles... from day 1 builds up to about Q4'2014 and some even Q1'2015... and any cars that have had Tesla-refurbished packs installed. The issues are all pretty much the same thing in one form or another...
