14 MS door handle and window seal help 🙏🙏

Going on 4 months I’ve had an issue with my left rear window sealing when the door closes. Sometimes it would, most of the time it wouldn’t. If the window seals properly I can roll window up and down like any of us normally would with no issues. If the window wasn’t sealed properly, I could roll window down but when I tried to roll up it would only roll up to where it was to start (where window auto rolls down a bit when opening door).

Mobile service came out and of course changed the most expensive part, the window regulator. Over 400 dollars later the problem persisted.. and of course the tech said the regulator needed to be replaced anyways.

Soooo, I schedule another service and the techs says that I need a new front wiring harness. Ordered one and installed myself. Did nothing. So maybe it’s the rear wiring harness. Order it and install myself and nothing. Though after installing the rear wiring harness now the left rear door handle doesn’t present and I can only open door from inside

Also installed a new rear door handle controller, that didn’t work either.

So I’m coming to this community asking what the heck it could be.

Now when I go to service mode the car can’t even communicate with the door handle (and yes, I’ve triple checked all wiring harness connections).

Only thing on YouTube I found was the front wiring harness issue which I replaced and still didn’t work. Have a lead on something I should look at?

Also if you have crusty ground connections under the frunk then they should be cleaned.

Window seal and door handle fail

You can see here the window actually seals when I open the door. This happens randomly as well.

Bottom of video you can see the door handle moving around like a bobblehead when the door closes.

The door handle needed to be replaced and the rear wiring harness as well. That fixed the door handle issue.

The window sealing when the door is closed however is still an issue. Tesla tech said it could be something with the ecu but who knows.

Did you do the window calibration using the window button?

Yes. The tech did it as well. The seal or no-seal is random.
