I accidentally bought a rear window regulator motor when I needed one for the front window. Anyone know if there's anything that can be swapped between the two so this new motor could be used in the front? I tried resetting the MCU by changing the wheel selection, that didn't appear to have any affect.
For now, I installed the motor anyway. The motor is visually identical except for a different number on the tag. It installed and connected with no issues.
The only issue is that the front window only goes down when I activate the rear window switch! Both windows go down together...! The window operates correctly when the front door is opened it lowers and then raises after the door closes. It is bizarre that the switches are otherwise "tied" together.
