No, same situation. Changed my January 18 order on March 10 to Ultra Red, and got placed in the back of the queue. EDD is April 15 - May 20. No VIN.

@CaptUAL Great video, so now it is even more difficult to wait! Just curious: your car had the front license plate bracket, but none of the other Telsa's on that lot had them. Did you ask if they could remove it (assuming you don't need one in CA)?

Initially, I had a March 14 - March 23 window. A few days after I changed to Ultra Red (March 10), it went to "March 23". But then last Friday or Saturday it went to "April 13 - May 25"....

Great! And very interesting. I also ordered 1-18, then changed to Ultra Red to March 10 also. Yet my delivery window is April 13 - May 25. I infer from this that they are making them and prioritizing those that can be delivered this quarter. South Florida would not be possible, hence no VIN...

@lowtek I think you changed your order to Ultra Red right around the same time I did (March 10). While the rep I spoke with did not believe it would impact delivery, it obviously did as we now both look at Apr 13 - May 25. I thought I had p'ssed someone off, but alas, they are just waiting on...

@BlueMoon1217 When did you place your order? I originally ordered Plaid with that trim in ext. blue. Had VIN assigned but when I saw the Ultra Red, I changed the order on 3-10-2023, and my ED is now April 13 - May 25....

No fobs anymore. Just two card keys. But they want you to use the phone as the key..... So if you valet your car, you give them your phone as well.... Fobs are $175 each. Yes. $175 for the key to the car.

Yep! Changed from Blue to Ultra Red. VIN had already been assigned but there is no apparent delivery delay caused by the change in ext. color. I would have been disappointed had I not known about this in time to make the change!

Question: I keep seeing messages (I think) suggest that at delivery, you are not allowed to inspect the car inside and out? I hope that I am wrong about this? When I picked up my MS '16 in WPB that was not an issue then....

While probably not an Atlanta delivery location (South Florida) but yes, got mine Saturday. Order date was 1-18-2023. Delivery window now March 14 - March 23.

Siraj, Looking sharp! Did you ask TSC to remove the front license bracket - was told they were "not allowed" even though they are useless in Florida. Just curious....

@krutch FWIW... I tried the yoke and while it looks fast and great, like Formula 1 etc. I found it not very practical when making (tight) turns, park etc. Instinctively, I let the yoke slide through my hands while making 90 degree turns only to end up loosing it, and then get hit by the other...

Just got an update from Tesla (in the app, not an SMS). New delivery period is Feb 24 - March 17. Was Mar 3 - Mar 30. FWIW.

@KingPaul You can either use your app, swipe to the page with your reserved car, and click "MANAGE" to log into the reservation, or log on to tesla.com and access the reservation. Once there, scroll to the bottom you should see an ability to EDIT DESIGN. You may see a warning about extra fees...

I bit the bullet and changed from LR to Plaid. Did that in the mobile APP wihout any effort. It was accepted, the RN number did not change nor the EDD. FWIW....

I just don't get it that the nav system in a Tesla is the weakest part of the car. The Tesla nav system is so inaccurate you have to open Waze or Google Maps to be sure. I live in South Florida and it routinely routes me off the Interstate (95) to surface streets, to enter the Interstate a few...

Have the same experience with 7.2 software and I am not sure 8.0 fixed it; too early to tell. I thought it may have been caused by right side sensors and had them checked out but no issues were found. It is uncomfortable to me and especially to passengers. Henri
