Similar situation here. Had some creaking noise in the backseat which I thought was from the seat. It turns out to have to do with the FWD. They lubricated it and fixed it accordingly. Now it's gone! Another surprise was they adjusted the other FWD which had a slight misalignment on the handles...

I don’t have the numbers for 80%-20% specifically. But we started our trip with 334 miles (95% SOC) and it went down to 52 miles after driving 252 miles with avg energy of 293 Wh/mi. I hope this helps.

I had something similar happen with my MXLR, Nov delivery as well. Fortunately it lasted only a few weeks. The phantom drain was not as severe as OP’s but within. 2 weeks period, I drove the car around 100 miles and it drained 100 miles while parked. On a couple nights, it lost 20 miles or so...

OP, what does the consumption app does in PARK for you? My less than 2 months old MXLR went through a week where it sucked up a ton of energy during park. I drove 100 miles in a span of a week or so and the car consumed more than 100 miles during that period. It’s settled down since then.

I’m a novice 23 MXLR owner and I feel OP’s frustration. Essentially he’s getting 132 miles out of his 100% charge. That sounds way off.

Thanks for your reply. While I get the MX has higher energy usage but 19 miles just seems abnormal. Btw, last night was another 14 miles. It was less probably just because fewer hours had passed. Prior to this, over night drain was more like 2-3 miles.

Glad it’s working out. Yes it’s frustrating because my text guy was also asking me the same questions 5 different ways and times. My hunch is it happens all the time where the wire is sent but it’s not clearly associated with your car/account.

Check your payment section on the Tesla app. It should indicate if the financed amount has been paid. In my case, there were a few days between wiring payment and delivery so it wasn’t as stressful.

For those with Fedchoice, I strongly suggest that you call them for updates. They’re so much more responsive with phone calls. I had messaged them on their messaging a few times and never heard back. But when I called, they looked at my file and took care of everything there.

I was able to inspect my car while still sorting out financing. I was offered to take a test drive but wanted to wait until delivery. Looking back, may have been a good idea for a test drive in case there’s any issues.

Go to your Tesla account on a computer. You can find the purchase agreement under documents. It’s a 9 page doc. Remember to sign it before sending it to Fedchoice. Congrats!

To be fair to Tesla, delivery hasn’t been scheduled yet so they probably would have caught the rim rashes but probably would have let the FWD be. I just hope they take the time to get everything ready for me this coming week.

I went back again with my wife and noticed a few more things. Talked to an SA and he said they’d fix them all before delivery, including thr FWD misalignment. Hope they deliver. Odometer says 11 miles so I doubt it’s a demo. I got it as a new car so I don’t know how the curb rashes happened.

Of course I wish it would be more perfect too. Since it’s our first x, I just wanted to get a wider perspective from this knowledge base. Aesthetically I think it’s fine. I just want function not to be compromised but I guess if anything were to leak, I’d still have 4 yrs to warranty it.

Thea a slight raise on the misaligned side. The second picture shows a more exaggerated angle (from below) of the front and FWD handles. It’s not as pronounced in person from a normal angle. I didn’t test drive it but when I sat inside to open and close the doors, everything seemed fine and smooth.
