Reducing noise and keeping the door sills clean

Same with me... gone down multiple rabbit holes to no avail. I also was convince it was the small triangles but couldn't relay fix them.. mobile tech did a number of things around the a pillar with the rubber trim.... we are all at a loss. The only thing I think is that there just seems to be...

    What's your rated range again?

That's an interesting point to think about..... Casmium says he has only supercharged once and still has 499 and is a Sept 18 build like mine with 30K KM as well. I was at 499ish until Aug of this year when I took a long road trip (7k KM) and almost exclusively supercharged. Thats when I...

    What's your rated range again?

Mine is right there as well, 1 year old AWD with 33K KM. From TeslaFi it started going down noticeably in July of this year. Have only charged to 100% twice in the year I have owned it.

Supercharger - Kalispell, MT (under construction Apr 2024, 12 V3 stalls)

HPWC = High Power Wall Connector Plug share is a good option to find charging in Kalispell. There are 2 main "free" options. Both Red lion and Hampton Inn are for guests staying there. Here is the link to plug share. There are currently no superchargers in Kalispell yet (I am also eagerly...

Sea Sucker Roof Rack and Cargo Box in the cold

What is the length of you skybox? I'm trying to figure out what is "too much" cargo box for the model 3. I have a Thule Hyper XL that is 90" long. Wondering if that will fit and "look ok" with the OEM tesla bars. I would try and put the cargo box as far back as possible but not interfere with...

Manual Heat Not Blowing Hot above 8

Not much more to add to this thread at this point as everything said is what I experience as well. so, uh, +1 I guess.... :) I do find it odd that on manual fan at 10 and heat at HI blows coolish air. I took my IR temp gun and measured. on Defrost (red) I was able to get the max of 40c temp...

Manual Heat Not Blowing Hot above 8

Yes same with me. I’ve actually taken a IR temperature gun to measure. The hottest it got it to blow out was 40c on auto. Tuning it to manual fan on 10 and on hi was coolish air ~19c. Weird as I would expect hi and 10 fan to flow out as hot as it can.

    Underwhelming cold weather performance

Agree been doing tests as well lately, here is a rough summary. Today was -20 and did a 61 km trip to the airport, heat at 21 and 2 front seats at 2 bacon strips. Usage was 253 at about 105 km/hr. Using manual heat settings at 2 fan and 21c I get about -180-200. I also tried a granny hype...

Summon is now available in Canada for the Model 3

Interesting PSA: even if you have auto fold mirrors disabled, when you use summon it will fold them in. Be aware if you are going to use Summon and the mirrors might be frozen, it will try and fold them in.

Odometer reading on Model 3 delivery and Final Price Sheet

I just got my "Final Price Sheet" updated on the Tesla site and noticed that the "odometer" box says 100KM. I did not yet see or take delivery of the vehicle but was curious as the the "exact" number "100" in the odometer box. Is this just a default number out in? What was peoples actual...

    Model 3 Tires

yes this is correct. If you look at the 19" winter set (tires and wheels) they come with the Sottozero 3. The 18" winter set come with the Sottozero Serie II (series 2). I wonder if they eventually will update the 18s to the series 3???

Best Deal I have found for winter tires

Hum... maybe I should order the rims already?? (waiting for Model 3 Dual) Can I even order if I dont have a VIN yet? They Aero wheels are $200 USD each in the US so that lines up with the exchange rate at $250 CAD and you need TPMS as well at $280 USD for 4 of them. So the $2400 CAD is not...

Thanks for this. I have been planning out where to get PPF in EDM. I haven't been able to narrow down a spot based on recommendations and reputation. I want to get at least the full front and rockers panels done. Still debating the cost delta between that and just a full wrap of PPF.

    Model 3 in Canada

Mine was also $1000 CAD. Did you happen to be going through a VPN or a work network that perhaps routed though he US? When I log in at work it thinks I am in the US, but when I purchased I was through my CA ISP. Just a thought but maybe they based the charge amount USD/CAD based on ISP Geo?!?
