I went there twice - on Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately it was barely enough time to look at the car (2 minutes outside, 2 minutes inside). Sounds like weekdays may be better.

It would be nice if the key fob is offered as an option. I'm OK to pay extra for it - within a reason. It's amazing how much stuff is 'attached' to those smartphones nowadays - especially considering that these devices are basically disposables. (I know I sound like a grumpy old person :))

The rate of the battery degradation in my 2011 Leaf. My comfortable range right now is about 30 miles + some buffer in city driving mode (i.e. little to no highways). I like Model S a lot. Test drove it numerous times, and these 45K used cars are very tempting.

Saw Model X about 2 days ago in Southlake with rear turn signals like in European model (starts at 1m 17s mark) I.e. thin horizontal LED strips of amber colour. Seemed to be adequate. If Model 3 would have similar turn signals (back and/or front) I'd be OK with it.

Yep, one more option to make that special vehicle extra special :) Another idea (inspired by an item I picked at Drive Electric Week event last September): I(heart)EV Where (heart)='single heart shaped symbol'. Assuming your state allows special characters in license plates.

Texas has some vanity (or as they called it, specialty) plate designs which allow 6 or even 7 characters :p Mine however limited to five, and when I ordered it, I didn't have any good ideas for personalization :oops: Just wanted something different than standard plates - didn't like the design...

Well this software is more like a driver which learns how to drive :) The more real world experience it will have the better. This what will make it truly "ready". For a while it just going to ride as a passenger... or a co-pilot ? :D and observe.

I consider myself lucky then - when I bought mine it had (and still has) 10 out of 12 bars. About 80%? It shows ~60 miles when fully charged. Car is about 5 y.o. (2011) and had ~32000 when I bought it. It originally was registered in TN as a fleet car. I'm it's second owner.

Highly recommended option for Leaf (especially used one) - DC charging option. Not all trims have it. It takes about 45 minutes to charge close-to-empty battery using DC charger vs 3-4 hours using 240V.

I'd like one too! Another possible option - a key fob sleeve, similar to this one: Tesla — Maumee Key Fob Sleeve. It doesn't have to be made from leather if this would help to bring the cost down.

That solid piece of glass on the back looks nice, but I'd trade it for a metal roof and a liftgate. Also the head room in the back is not essential for me since this is going to be a car for one person. The good access to the cargo area is more important - second car or Model S is not an option...
