Updated to 10/12-10/20 over the weekend, then today got the "Schedule Your Tesla Delivery Appointment". I guess they don't want me to pick it up at the new center in Glendale anymore and want to deliver it to my house. First available delivery is next monday. Time for one last rug pull?

I think its pretty clear that when I ordered my performance in January that Tesla had zero intention delivering the car that I ordered, whatever timeline they might have quoted at the time.

Great, now I am going to wake up each morning expecting to see yet another "Confirming your Model S update" for a change I didn't want/ask for.

How could it possibly be? Its pretty clear they just make up a date and throw it at you.

I guess that explains my move yesterday from 9/24-9/30 to 9/27-9/30. blue/white/CF/21" RN 11439x still no vin. I wonder if I will get a phone call or something when the car is ready, or if they are just hoping I happen to check my tesla account that day. (they know i will.)

it is a performance order from January that transformed into a plaId+ and then a plaid, all without a phone call or text message from Tesla. I did get a couple of emails along the way ”Confirming your Model S update”. have to say it’s the weirdest car buying experience i have had so far.

My blue/white/CF/21" just updated from 9/19-9/29 to 9/29-9/30. Still no VIN.

Performance to plaid looks to me like it went from $91,990 to $119,490

Hmm, I guess I should read up on how Remote S estimates the charge level. Both cars are right around 45k miles. pre-facelift 90D - 89% charge, Est 232, rated 225, ideal 284. Est. Charge 65 of 73kWh. facelift P90D - 77% charge, est 190, rated 185, ideal 323. Est charge 57 of 75kWh.

My wife agrees. I was ready to upgrade her AP1 90D to a new P100D, but when she saw there was no sunroof she killed the deal.

2018.50.6 might be the latest version for some AP1 cars, but I can guarantee you that there are AP1 cars with 2019.x versions. I know because 2019.8.4 has removed my launch mode (I have used it like 3x in the last 3 years, but suddenly I feel like they stole my kidney.)

In my case it seems like every time I notice the switch from Dolby to immersive when I check the web browser I see that it doesn't work either. Almost like the MCU or whatever is running out of memory or something crashed. After I reboot both the web browser and Dolby options are are back.

Logical, and that's the same line of thought I had before they started making changes to how ludicrous works with my V2 battery. I am very nervous about what's going to happen with AP1. Hopefully the much larger installed base gives them pause before they play any drastic games.

I have a pre-refresh 90d and a post refresh p90d. When charged to 90% the post refresh p90d has more range than the 90d (by usually 4 miles, 238 to 242.) I think it's pretty clear that they quietly made a change.

Same problem with 10.2 beta 1 and 2. Just got beta 3, hopefully this fixes it.
