I've found it quite accurate, but by default it assumes you drive the speed limit. If not, you had better adjust that :) I use ABRP for trip planning, but for the trip the in-car nav works really well.

FWIW my month-old 2024 MY LR also consistently reports about 300 miles range, not the 310 shown on the sticker. In contrast the 2019 M3 LR it replaced consistently reported 311 miles, exactly the same as the EPA rating (making me wonder if the software was creating this consistency...

I think that route is a little thin on supercharging, so recommend using ABRP (and be sure to adjust the speed offset) to help plan.

This is probable due to "hold mode" (circled capital H where speed is normally displayed). It applies brakes somehow, which takes less energy than using the motor to keep the car stationary. My 2019 3 clicked both entering and leaving hold mode.

Getting charging figured out is essential. USB stick (or perhaps SSD) for sentry mode. Google "tesla usb sentry" for options. I'm quite happy with the Tesla Model 3 USB Hub for Sentry and Dashcam storage - Jeda Products and sufficiently slim USB drives hide nicely in it.

Humans also improve their lane selection, speed, etc. as they drive the same route more than once. This is particularly helpful in heavy traffic when painted cues are often obscured and last-moment adjustments are difficult. So mapping of some sort remains useful.

Re: "stop and creep", there are intersections where the cameras have a problem, but that is a minority of intersections. What humans do is slow to creep speed at the stop sign but keep going to an appropriate stopping point. And then go when all is clear. When there is a well-placed stop line...

Sorry, I've too small a sample size (3 different busy roundabouts). In prior versions I never noticed "2" being a problem, and the only time "1" happened to me was when the road coming from the left was obscured by shrubbery.

Can confirm 10.12.2 is much better on roundabouts. And the display shows cars further ahead than in previous versions. Otherwise the improvements seem minor to me. Annoyances remain. But those roundabouts! I'm very happy about that.

Perhaps this loophole still works: after the drive, before putting the car in park and exiting the vehicle, do the scroll-wheel reset. This used to clear the info for that drive. Perhaps you should test this on a minor drive first.

On 10.10.2 on a two lane road, an overtaking car decided to pass me with little room to spare. As things got tight my model 3 veered partly onto the shoulder, and then returned to the lane. I thought that was pretty cool.

My spouse passenger hates that AP remains centered in the lane when there is an adjacent big truck. My appeasement strategy is to disengage AP until the truck is clear. IMO this is less safe but better than not being permitted to use AP at all.

If you use "city streets" autosteer every chance you get, then I think you'd enjoy FSD beta. It fixes almost every annoyance you've had with "city streets" and replaces them with an entirely different set!

10.4 seems to drive slightly better than 10.3.1, or perhaps I'm just getting used to the quirks. The speed bump visualization is nice. (10.4 might be much better on rare "edge cases", but only Tesla telemetry could confirm that.)
