Guys, it's not the straight 400 miles range that's important, it's the 10% SOC to 70% SOC which is what would be significant with a 400 mile range Tesla. Not sure what the speed would be at a SC for such a charge, but would guess in the 15 minute range. Good stuff. Rich

The problem I see with the reported range of 254 miles is that in a year or so of driving the real world range will be around 230 miles. And since road travel is most efficient when the SoC is kept somewhere close to 15% (low end) to around 70% (upper end) this amount of range is unacceptable...

Was just given a Gen 3 Wall Connector. Friend passed away and wife didn't need it anymore. Anyway, found it has a 20' cable (I thought they were supposed to be 24'...), thus am keeping our Mobil Connector. Can't see any advantage one unit over the other. Rich

I have left, and continue to leave, EVs sitting plugged-in for between five and eight months at a time. Kept at 50% SoC when they are left sitting (first was a Chevy Bolt, now Tesla M3 SR LFP). No degradation or negative consequences that I am aware of. Rich

That's where I keep our MY LR AWD. Unless on the road there is no point in having the battery sit with more juice in it. A good case could be made for a daily 50% SoC as well. Rich
