Richmond, TX Service Center temporary closing

Grand opening, grand closing? Schedule a service for my 1 month old Model S at the SC in Richmond, just South of Houston. They cancelled the appointment due to the fact that they are temporarily closing. Unless there was a fire or some other catastrophic event I'm pinning this in the cuts. My...

Supercharger - Houston, TX - Kipling Street

This is why we can't have nice things in America. So sad. Could even be a disgruntle employee...brazen to do this around in such a well travelled area. I was just there Saturday around 2300.

    New XP yoke, self install?

Not gonna lie OP...with the questions you're asking, spend the extra cheddar and let Tesla install for you. Not sure you can man your way through this one :)

Free Trial FSD, What DoYou Think About It?

Seems to me the experience is different depending on the car and equipment. That makes any comparison fraught with subjectivity.

    Plaid Sport Bucket Seats

Ahhh that's what was missing. Now the carbon fiber accents on the Plaid make sense! Well done Tesla!! Small refinements like this up and down the line will reinvigorate interest until full refresh.

    FSD now $99 a month

Location and build dependent. I have a 2024 MS and I'm on my 3 month trial. I'll say the visualization that you get with FSD is remarkable, even when I'm doing the driving. I'd probably pay for that view alone as an upgrade. Now FSD is super useful, but I may not ever let it completely drive me...

    Review of new MSLR

You're gonna bounce but you can make it less bouncy in the settings for sure. No idea how the plaid drivers deal with this at those speeds.

FSD 12.3.3 first drive - safe, super boring

That sums it up. This is my first experience with FSD on my MSLR 2024. It worked ok but honestly enjoy driving the car vs supervising if that's what you call it. Maybe a long road trip would change my mind.

    Wiki Model S Delivery Update

About a week into ownership with the MSLR 2024, coming from a MSLR+. Went for the yoke and even though I had an overnight with one it's still surprises me how wide and rectangular it is. My car did not have the video feed with turn signals, so I have to develop a system on what I should actually...

    Wiki Model S Delivery Update

I can't decide which is better, joining this thread or leaving it post delivery? Picked her up today with a few minor issues to resolve down the road at the SC. Thanks for the laughs, late night fall asleep reads, and information folks. Hang in there!

No. S is a sedan + hatch back. More surface area and opportunity to move air around.

If I could just invent a pill to treat FOMO I'd be rich and Tesla would sale a few extra S I bet. Delivery set for 3.19, no looking back.

It was not there....but 100 MYs were. In fact I did not see 1 MS on the lot, except the demo. Delivery center in League City, TX, just outside of Houston.
