Is there such a thing as g-force neutral cup holders?
Which don't start to swing around like crazy, so not just a 2-axis pendulum?

I believe the problem you're trying to solve was managed by the spill proof lid.Is there such a thing as g-force neutral cup holders?

What? As in: "Switch all cup-holders to Neutral"?
Could be another button alongside "deploy whoopee cushion".
But I understand the thinking: A spilt cup is really annoying, but I don't know of anything cheap and simple apart from the usual compass gimble/ two-axis pendulum idea..

I don't get it. The vessels still lean...
He, thanks for the g-force-neutral cup holder suggestions. I was hoping for a high-tech solution which doesn't swing like a pendulum, though.
But maybe it needs to.
Uhm, yeah, this isn't Star Trek; we don't have inertial dampers. The whole point is to keep the "gravity" vector vertical with respect to the cup.

You'd probably have to look behind you.I'd like to see that with Roadster acceleration or Model S Sport!
So we are talking a mini Segway cupholder
The cup holder placement in the center armrest seems really klutzy, but I'm NOT going to put this thing on the dashboard.

On the Beta it sucks. Too far back for the driver and front passenger, uunreachable for the rear passengers.
