A while back I made up a joke story about Tesla working on an "eWindstar" prototype with Ford.
The idea had been inspired by incessant suggestions of well meaning bloggers who thought that a wind turbine could be used to recharge the batteries as the vehicle drove along the road.
Most of us who think that such "perpetual motion" is just not possible try to debunk the idea but it just keeps coming up time and time again.
