Discussion on this WSJ article

I think the sentiment of this article is on key, but details seem so wrong.

I always thought of WSJ as a reliable source.
- first LFP?
- $7500 tax credit in 272 mile range lease in 2024. Am I wrong here?

CA electricity bills will have new fixed fees based on income

Another sad day for solar owners in CA. Now it will take me longer to recoup the cost of my solar system:( I'm assuming the PW's time shifting benefits/payback will be reduced since they will lower the rates.

Tesla FSD V12 vs Mercedes Driver Assist Video by Whole Mars Catalog on YouTube.com

According to Whole Mars Catalog, a Consumer Reports recent review rated Mercedes-Benz Driver Assistance with a higher score than Tesla Autopilot.

Direct 18" vs. 20" wheel comparison for efficiency

I have a 25 mile loop that I do controlled efficiency testing on. I have done extensive testing with the 20" Uberturbine wheels and the stock Pirelli PZ4 tires vs. the 18" T Sportline wheels I have but that was always with different tires. Yesterday, I was finally able to test 18" wheels vs. 20" whe...

Good bye

It’s been a blast, literally. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my Tesla adventure over the last 5 years but I have started the countdown to the lease expiry date and I think I’ve made a decision on my next car. My needs have changed with WFH. Superchargers open to all seals the deal. I’ll try to be considera...

Entire Supercharging Team Fired?

News yesterday is that the entire 500+ person word-wide SC team has been let go. That is alarming. Why would Elon sack the execs and all the employees of this important part of Tesla's business? Could Tesla be selling the SC network off to a third party? Opinions? Other theories?

Tesla 3 Highland Nova wheels without trim

Someone asked a while back to see what the new Nova wheels look like without the aero trim pieces.
Took them all off for ceramic coating this weekend, and thought to take some photos to save people the annoying task of removing them all.
Personally, I will be putting the trim pieces back on. But wit...

An interesting journey last night

Picking my son and 3 of his friends up from Gatwick yesterday. Had been a bit out during the day so car charge was down a bit and while plugged in at home it didn't quite get to a level I wanted it before I had to leave. Technically I should have been able to make the trip there and back with 8% spa...
