No but I got my charge port recently changed because the led lights were dying. The EMC gets changed to communication with CCS. These are two separate things.

You have to go to your Tesla account via their website and order the retrofit there. That’s the only way you’ll know if your car qualifies for the upgrade at this time.

You’ll brick the battery and the cells won’t be able to recover, Tesla won’t cover it under warranty.

Yes mine was replaced in February 2021 on my July 2019 P100D, it was roughly -20C outside when it happened. I was towing my trailer, and luckily everything shutdown in a parking lot. It had to be towed to the SC.

I agree, the most I’ve seen at Niagara is 8-10 cars, but they cleared out fast within 5 mins. Grimsby is a pain V2, and last I was there it was full, but someone was leaving as I got there.

I always beat EPA range when I drive 60mph without HVAC and set to very low suspension. Unfortunately once you get a few speeding tickets you learn to drive EPA standard, if it wasn’t for autopilot I’d get really board driving the speed limit.

I’d quickly put trailer mode on before going in reverse. Back before they patched AP in tow mode I never had issues towing while in AP, just used it when it was a straight drive on the highway for hundreds of miles. It’s kinda boring driving 55 with a trailer, but with AP no sweat!!

Got a loaner when appointment was made, No questions asked regarding getting Mx half shafts replaced due to shudder. Took 3hrs to get the work done and I was able to run errands in that time. This is in Toronto, never had issues and loaner was always given days before arriving to the appointment.

Isn’t Tesla’s work around the car sends the Image to the mothership and then it translates to what the speed is. I think With mobileeye all that is done in the car.

Only positive I see is the brakes staying rust free . If I’m driving manually it’s quite rare I touch the brakes.
