Tyre rotation

My independent garage thinks I need special Tesla pads to jack up my model 3 to rotate the tyres. They are also worried about confusing the tyre sensors if they do. Anybody know the answers?

Not an issue. Tyre rotation is fine with Tesla tyre sensors.

There are special jack pads for the model 3. Most tire shops I have used in the USA have them. But I also have a set in each car in case I get a flat somewhere on the road.

Jacking points are the same as on a Porsche. Do they refuse to jack those up?

Those jack pads are pretty cheap. I keep a set in my car just in case.

The sensors are not a problem. Like in many newer cars they automagically just work. Maybe consider a different garage?
