I am going to keep trying it. No telling what might pop up. I'm thinking it should be a shortcut that locks the doors and enables the child proof rear door switches, and if you're parked it could display the Sentry Cam screen

Right! OR, it could be super passive-aggressive and do the opposite, and (if parked), open EVERYTHING (frunk, trunk, glove box, charge port, and doors)
I've thought this could be great, to be able to say "Hey [Your Car's Name]" as a wakeup. Reaching over to press the button does seem awfully inconvenient. My thumb is, at best, two entire U.S. inches away from the button, or even resting comfortably in my lap. I imagine monitoring for this is seen as a frivolous use of processing cycles however.
I prefer having control over when the car expects and listens to my commands. I'd hate to have the car pickup an incidental utterance of the magic word(s) coming over the speakers or from a passenger and then attempt to perform what it mistakenly deems to be the ensuing command. Not a biggie if it's Alexa or Siri at home, but may be disconcerting to say the least if you're travelling at highway speeds and something unexpected happens.
