Turn off voice reading text message

I like the text on the instrument cluster but the voice is sooo loud. Can I turn it off?

Yes, I believe it's in the bluetooth settings menu when you pull up your phone on the main screen.

Not sure you can turn off the volume completely, but you can surely turn it down while keeping the media volume at its current level.

this knowledge goes for the navigation volume too. Tesla keeps the media, navigation, and Bluetooth volume level separate. While the particular source is playing (like when the text is actually reading) adjust the volume. You will see the familiar volume slider but the icon will have changed. You have to be quick so it might be best to send yourself a quill long message the first time. Then, the volume of the text being read will change but when the car goes back to the media, you music volume will be restored.

If you read the txt message fast, you can dismiss it before it is read out loud.

This really annoying There should be an option to have texts read or not. I don't particularly want everyone in the car to listen to my messages. Also if I'm listening to music the text voice is played on top of the music.

This should be an easy option to add and I've seen many requests for it. Tesla?
