Going flat-chat to try to get them working by Easter?
A week? Good luck with that...
May be in prep to relay the surface and they may be installing overhead solar panels as they have in Raymond Terrace and they needed to have the tar gone to install the mounting posts. The road surface is in good condition on that part of Wynter Street though. Also may be laying concrete plinths and barriers at either end of the charging station as it's on a public road.I wonder why they scraped the road?
Very odd, I thought maybe the road was in a poor state and they were taking the opportunity to do them both at once, but that doesn't seem the case (based on street view pics):I wonder why they scraped the road?

Ahh, yes they had to do the same thing at Devonport as it was on a one way road - flip the SC spaces the other way.In order to be rear in, it should be perpendicular or angled the other way.
What would the residents across the road think about the SC location. It's about to get a whole lot busier.
That is true, though that parking there may not just be for the shops. I wonder to wnat extent is the pakring used for park access?. Additonally as mentioned upthread the parking will need to be changed from nose in to rear in - with the headlight issueManning Mall is across the road only 1 block down. So not that much busier…
with the headlight issue
Its more the parking reverse in before lights off, the lights on before driving off.they should turn their damn lights off
I will use a lot at night but yes headlights off as it will shine into those houses.I can’t imagine these getting much use at night… it is quite a detour from the highway. And if anyone does use them at night and stays in their car while charging, they should turn their damn lights off. Just tap on the headlight icon, tap off, done.
Tesla only for nowAre those stalls open to all brands or just Tesla?
