It's easy to do. I have used the spare a few times. I like to fix myself and move on and not wait for a tow truck etc. And it can all be put back to standard if you sell the car.

The Made in China Model Y I have is built real well. Better than the previous 3 cars I have owned. But I am not that fussy.

Today I rearranged the setup.  All the tire repair equipment is under the wheel like, compressor, pucks, jack repair kit. I placed tie down straps in through the original cast holes. I just completed a 700 Km Day trip no rattles squeaks etc and still had a full boot / sorry trunk space.

I took out the tub liner and the floor fits flat. I can always put it back to normal. Feels good to have the spare with me as I do a lot of country trips here in Australia. I did add another tie down on the right-hand side so the spare will not move around.

I had a Model 3 order in since Feb 12 but canceled when the Y started taking orders.

I noticed when I checked the Tesla app that it asked for bluetooth to be turned on.( about 11:00 am yesterday morning) I checked the account during the day and payment info was on the account. When I got home the Vin decoder plug in notified my of my vin.

10:19 am on the first day.

Just checked and I have the Vin.

5 feet 10 inches high . My son has grown a lot in the six months waiting for the model 3.

Changed from Model 3 to Model Y. White with black. Ordered today as soon as I sat in it at Chatswood. Lots more room. Will most likely just remove the aero covers.

The leg room is good and my feet fit under the front seat which they do not in the model 3.
