Software bug? Recently used apps

Something strange is happening on my profile(not my partners or any other profile).

The space for the “recently used apps” on the bottom bar is always black.
Even to the point that if I am using let’s say reverse camera I can’t close it anymore as the button in the used apps area at the bottom is missing.
The ones I have fixed as favourites are fine.
I have tried a reboot, didn’t help…

Doesn’t look like a software bug, picture can help. I would go ahead and raise a service request. The chances of a screen issue is on top of my list of problems. Sounds more like a hardware issue. Did the screen had a knock or crack anywhere? Look for it with your mobile phone torch light.
 
Rebooted again. Still the same problem.

I am wondering if it might be a corrupt profile save on the Tesla server!?
Has anybody tried the reset profile function on their app??
Tempted to do that but wouldn’t want to loose all my settings.

Instead of resetting it, you can create a new profile - just keep the same settings (seats, mirror and steering) and then go to create new profile and create a new profile. It will have the same profile setting as your default. Then save as the profile for the keys.
