The AP1 pre-facelift center located radar has heating right?
Right on baby, and this thing gets *warm*! No problem feeling it with your fingertips.

The problem with the so-called "radome heating" in the pre-face AP1 radar, is that it's only melting the ice/snow directly touching the surface. I.e. the first millimeter (or two) of snow/ice. With Norwegian winter, that's laughable. Doesn't help a bit, radar disabled just like that. And I get at least a good couple of centimetres of snow builup on that thing in normal, winter driving. Have to stop, exit car, 'finger' the radar and get back in the car.

Dunno about facelift radar. All I know is that there's no heating, but instead you have the "shielding" that the front fascia panel constitues. But I have no trouble believing the radar is disabled because of some snow/ice on that sucker
